| The young priestess had been very dissatisfied with Soma's words for they hurt her. He had said it was too dangerous for her. He did not want her getting hurt. Everyone was trying to protect her. She was tired of it. She was a big girl and could take care of herself. Perhaps with a lot of improvising but she could do it. She knew it wrong of her to follow Soma; but concern washed over her as she approaches the suicide forest. Such dread she sensed; the sheer essence made the young priestess feel weak. She felt like she would pass out. She places a hand to her head weakly; why on earth was Soma coming to such a place? The priestess leans against a tree needing to catch her breath as she closed her eyes for a moment. "S-Soma...." She whispers his name softly under her breath.
---- The weakened woman recognized him; he had pursued her in her past. He had been someone her previous life treasured above many. It was Aleksander. Why had he gone out of his way to resurrect her? Was he hoping to make his mate now? She was very confused and wanted Alucard. Alucard. Was he alive? Where was he if he was? Weakly she spoke to the vampire. His name escaped her lips. "A-Aleksander? ..... W-Why?" She breathes her voice was weak and hoarse; she could barely move. She still had no feeling to her body. | |

| Dracula gazed about the entrance of the 'Suicide Forest' in intrigue of the location. It was a dark forest, the canopy of the treetops shrouding the sunlight and placing this place into a foreboding darkness. It reminds him of the Hoia-Baicu of his homeland except, unlike the Hoia-Baicu, this place has an intense and rare feeling of malignancy within it. Perhaps it was because he could be considered spirit within those boy's body or just a strong living soul but, he could feel the hundreds of dead mortals within this place. Dracula was silent before he spoke to Soma, his voice echoing from the innermost parts of his mind while, Soma's Crimson Stone emitted faint glow.
"So much death.... It's almost overwhelming." Dracula spoke before he continued on. "Which is a good thing. Demons love this so, it should not be hard to find a good candidate to use for training purposes." He uttered to Soma. "But, I do recommend sticking to the path. There are a few malignant spirits here but, it seems that they avoid the path before us. I'll guide you." He continued on as he awaited for Soma to find a ripe place for training. | |

| Soma eyed the forest in front of him. The air felt heavy and there were many abandoned and overgrown cars that had been there for decades. Left there to honor the spirits of the dead. It was depressing to the young man. There was no wonder Japan was in the top 10 in the whole world when it came to suicides. He started forward onto the path, one of the only decently lit parts of the forests. But with the sun setting slightly behind Mt. Fuji made the path almost too dark to walk without a flashlight.
------
Stepping off of the bullet train, the young man re-positioned his violin case on his shoulder. It might have broken a few rules when it comes to the trains and how much space one is allowed to take up, but it didn't matter. He had seen her and needed to talk to her. Meet her. He followed her direction with a smirk on his face. He may not possess the soul, but he would possess the wife. That much was certain. | |

| The auburn took a needed breath as she then pushes herself towards the forest; the energy was so heavy she could feel herself staggering towards the forest. She stumbled against another tree feeling severely weakened by the forest's dark energy. She did not have this trouble when she was in Castlevania; and that was full of dark energy. So why; why was she so affected by the... She knew why. She closes her eyes for a moment; her head was pounding and she knew in her heart she should go back. "S-Soma.... Kun..." She shudders his name as she slides down to her knees. She places her hands to her forehead. "Maybe.... I just need a few.... minutes...." She breathes, what if she passed out here. Would Soma find her? Soma... Why was he here? What sort of training could he have here... She could feel her world spiraling about her as the forest's dark energy began to take it's toll on the priestess. | |

| Dracula took note of the rapidly darkening path before the two of them. He sighed as he willed the Stone to grow brighter, hoping that this would be enough for Soma's human sight. If Dracula was stronger, he could have given the boy better sight in such a situation but, alas, Dracula shall deal with this puny weakness until the use of Dominus gives him the souls he needs to become stronger. "I hope that helps. I wish I was not so limited but, alas, it is the curse of being stuck as a spirit." He sighed out before concentrating upon sensing for demons. He could sense other spirits and wandering souls but, he didn't know how well demons will come to him in his weakened state. "Mmm... I sense a large amount of darkness a few feet further from this location. It speaks demon to me but, it can also be a strong spirit. I cannot tell but, shall we explore and find out?" | |

| Soma nodded but paused in his path. He could practically sense Mina, or at least a fraction of her intense holy magic. Had she followed him? Was she in pain? His immediate gut instinct was to go back and save her from whatever it was that was harming her. But then he thought about how he didn't seem to be strong enough yet to protect his beloved Mina. He needed this strength so he could protect Mina from the people and monsters that would wish her harm because his control over his powers seemed to be inexplicably linked to her health and life. He looked down at the dark ground and frowned. He had accepted this and would be so much stronger for her. He moved forward trying to follow the dark energy in front of him.
------
The young violinist smirked slightly but a quiet sinking feeling filled his abdomen. He would have to pull his future lover away from the forest. To his side. Away from this forest of darkness. He pulled his ornate violin from it's case. Plucking a few strings quietly of the waist and turning the tuning pegs accordingly to ensure the crispest of sounds from the instrument he channeled his powers of charm over the people around him. He pulled out his rosine block and glazed it across the hair of the bow. He positions himself to play a tune and lets his eyes close as he focuses the powers he's honed for his life to lure the shrine priestess to him.
-----
Aleksander smiled down at the huntress and reaches his cold hand down to her, "My lady... I'm sure you must be be very tired and confused. Please. If you have any questions, I'm open to answering any concerns you may have. Please tell me your wish, my lady, and i will try to ensure it's fruition." he says gently, his crimson eyes scanning slowly over her frame. It still shocked him sometimes how much she looked like his Miriam. The Miriam that had denied his immortal kiss. But soon enough, once Aleksander would rid the world of his late master's useless child using the only woman the dhampir brat has ever loved, Maria would be no more, instead replaced with the soul of Aleksander's beloved. And this time, he would not offer a choice to his bite. | |

The blonde slowly began to find feeling within her body; weakly she took his hand allowing him to assist in helping her to a sitting position. Her body came to rest against his cold chest; his non-beating heart only made her feel nostalgia as she was reminded of her beloved Alucard. Where was he? Was he even alive? Or had he returned to his self induced slumber? Her eyes lulled a bit as she took slow breathes. Once again becoming use to the idea of breathing. "A-Aleksander? Why am I alive once more? Where is Alucard?" She murmurs wanting answers immediately to her most important questions.
---
The young priestess felt a shiver ascend her spine as she began to fade in and out of consciousness; she felt violently ill here. Something kissed her ears; it was soft yet beautiful. It was music? Mina's lidded eyes slowly became more alert; she still felt incredibly weakened by the forest's energy. Yet she finds the needed strength rise within her; reaching up she grabs a branch. She pulls on it using it to aid her in getting to her feet; with a slight gasp she began to stagger her way towards the sound of music. Her mind began to fixate on it; it was almost as if it were calling to her. The melody; it was beautiful. The song it was calling to her; her heart said it was a special song. Special to her someway. Mina ventured alongside the path that framed the entrance to the forest; after what seemed like an eternity she caught a glimpse of a young man with what appeared to be a violin.
She felt her brows furrow together as she stumbles out of the brush; she watched as he turned to look upon her. She fell to her knees just a few feet away from him; his features they reminded her of Soma. But a tad different; his eyes; his jawline and hair. Tall, Dark and Handsome and eyes deep as the sea. Where had she seen eyes like that? Weakly; her hand reaches out for him as the dark energy of the forest depleted her of her own holy magic. Like the forest's energy her world went black.

| Dracula could feel concern and worry build up within Soma's mind when he seemed to sense Mina's presence coming from behind them, towards the entrance of this eerie place. Internally, the vampire's soul growled to himself as he was concerned this girl's presence was going to impede on his plans. The girl was already started to grate upon the Prince of Darkness' nerves and if she interfered anymore he might just have to do something about it. He refused to allow these obstacles prevent his return. However, much like he had sensed the demon ahead, he sensed another presence that was much more familiar to him. It took him awhile to realize that it was a piece of his own power calling to him, radiating from another that likely dared to call himself a "Dark Lord". He couldn't pinpoint who possessed a part of his power but, that mattered not to him. Perhaps, this "Dark Lord" was dealing with Mina accordingly? He certainly hoped so. It would be the first time he would witness a "Dark Lord" doing something useful for once.
Dracula would return his attentions back to Soma's erratic thoughts until he was relieved to find that the young boy decided to venture forth instead of go back for the girl. He didn't need in unneccessary complications arising and watched as they eventually approached the demon. A hunched over woman with wild ebony hair and a ragged display of clothing that barely hung upon her small and skeletal figure. She seemed preoccupied with something but, when a snap of a stray twig was heard from behind her, her head snapped up quickly. Her eyes were dulled into a gray-white that consumed her scleras with their blankness. The woman's lips turned back, revealing dark teeth that snarled upon the intruder as she quickly and unnaturally moved to her feet, her body twitching before she moved in front of Soma's body as slammed her palm into his chest, full unnatural strength behind the hit that shoved Soma back against a nearby tree. The woman continued to twitch as she raised her hands, the tree coming to life as its twigs attempted to whip and harm Soma.
---
A beautiful and melodious song echoed throughout the ballroom as the soft mingling of nobles could be heard accompanying it. The celebration at Cronqvist Castle was becoming something grand to behold and it brought a pleased smile upon its host. However, he was more smiling about the fact that his eyes rested upon the angel that his eyes had caught upon in the village earlier that day. He was simply so happy she had decided to come as he was worried that his presence had frightened her away as it seemed to have done with many women in the past. He looked to Leon upon realizing Elisabetha had also brought the young brunette along with her and he had thought the other lovely women who be perfect for his dearest friend. "Leon, come. I wish for you to meet two lovely women I met earlier today. One of them made me think of someon you would fancy." He teased lightly as he gestured his dearest friend to follow him to where the two women stood. Mathias nodded towards Elisabetha, reaching out to take her lithe hand into his own as he rose it up to give it a friendly kiss of greeting. "I am so warmed that you two were able to make it tonight. " Mathias purred to her, his icy hues glistening with adoration towards the two lovely ladies, though like in the village, they mostly remained upon Elisabetha. | |

| Soma winced as he hit the tree. It was painful, but most definitely not the most painful thing that had ever happened to him. Soma lunged his body to the side, landing on his left knee and palm and sliding a small bit on the dirt. He winced slightly again as he felt a small trickle of blood coursed down his fingers to the ground. He frowned, pulling his switchblade from his belt with his right hand. He cursed slightly. Why couldn’t he just have had any of the swords he found and used at Castlevania? That would have worked SO MUCH BETTER than his puny little army knife. Even the Claim Solais would have been SUPER useful at this point. The sword had a holy magic around the blade and would’ve worked really well against monsters and ghosts. He stood quickly and looked to his left hand, still slightly bloody at his fingertips even though the small wound on his palm had already started to heal slowly. Maybe if he focused hard enough on the blood he could do that magic that Arikado-san did to save him and Mina when they had first woken up at the castle. When Soma had pressured to secretive man about it after everything was over, when Arikado and Julius had started training him slowly how to be a “Hunter”, the man had said it was Blood Magic and it would be dangerous to use. To never use it. But if Graham had figured out how to use it in their final showdown with Yoko-san’s blood, then Soma might be able to do it to. He WAS Dracula’s reincarnation, after all; if Soma could learn the powers of Dracula’s once more, that would be an incredible force against the monsters and cults in the world that would try to attack him and Mina.
Mina… He had left her behind without telling her much. He could trust her with this. She would stand beside him no matter what. Except when he had changed at the castle… She was almost afraid. He never wanted to see that in her eyes again. That’s why he had to fight. To keep his powers under his control. To stay as Soma, and not as the next Prince of Darkness.
He switch the blade to his left hand, wincing quietly again at the cold metal on his scrape. He wished he knew how Arikado did the Blood Magic. What it entailed.
He jumped up and back from the branches and twigs. He had met the receiving end of a whip before. And Julius’s Vampire Killer had burned the young adult’s skin when it connected. The thought of the branches whipping motions made his heart race slightly. He had started to really despise whips after being on the receiving end of one before.
He REALLY wanted a longer blade. Why couldn’t he just be able to summon a blade like he did in Castlevania. He frowned deeper. This was going to be difficult. Moving out of the way again he brought up his free hand and held it in front of his chest with his index fingertip held to his thumb’s fingertip. He had watched Mina and her parents perform protective prayers for people before. It couldn’t hurt. And it was a Shinto prayer. He may not have believed much in the presence of a god, despite his home country of Romania being a fairly religious country itself… But Mina fut her own faith in the Shinto gods, and even though he might not have believed too much in them, it was better than the lengthy Latin prayers of Christianity.
”Miroku Oomikami-sama, you bless us and protect us, Meishu-sama, you bless us and protect us; For expansion of our soul, and the fulfillment of your will.” he said quickly, using his left hand to cut away a few twigs of the branches. Shinto didn’t believe in violence. Hopefully Mina’s gods would forgive him for using their prayers during a battle.
------ Aleksander smiled down at her with the kindest smile his dead heart could muster. ”I’ve brought you back, my dear. I wish to reunite you with your we-I mean-your grieving Adrian. As to where he is, He now lives in Europe in a human disguise, having locked most of his powers under a long series of magical locks and seals. He will not look the way you remember his appearance. He has given himself dark hair and has rejected any and all blood for the past 35 years. He is weakened and has wished for his own slumber once more before about 10 years ago. When he met a familiar soul. I’ve kept an ever watchful eye on my Master’s son for the many years you’ve been so far from his side. I hope to reunite the two of you to have a life together. Perhaps even have the family he was so unwilling to have with you. His hesitance laid in his blood, correct? His fear of passing Count Dracula’s blood further into the world? Well, with any hope, his sealing away his own blood and genes, that powerful blood will not sway any children? Wouldn’t you love to finally have that family with him? The family he’s denied you? I have but one request before I return you to his side. If you are willing to see him, that is? You two had quite the bad argument before he left you to his slumber, correct? Do you wish to see your husband once more, Lady Renard? If so, you must fulfill one favor of mine.” he said coyly Eyeing over her form once more. She had remained beautiful. Even better once he removed her Belmont like soul from that exquisite form, and replaced it with the soul of his beloved Miriam. She will deny his everlasting kiss no longer. He won’t even give her the choice this time. For her to deny his love and bite, to marry to a loveless marriage just for the future of the Belmonts? Disgusting. Leon treasured her not, forever pining over his naive Sara. What a despicable thing to do to Aleksander’s love.
All that stood in the way was the worthless human she-doctor’s son. He sided and befriended the Belmonts instead of where he had belonged as a peon of Lord Dracula’s army. From the moment that half-human brat was born, Aleksander hated him with every fiber of his unbeating heart. His lord had grown soft for mother and child, caring not that human’s denounced the woman’s dark marriage and called her child a devil’s son and denied his attempts to befriend them. Aleksander’s own obedience to try and garner respect of that worthless woman had what caused his banishment from his home. And his lord would not use his own full strength against the traitorous child. Surely because the brat shared the late she-doctor’s human heart. But no more would the King of Vampires have any need for his son. Aleksander’s Loyalty had never faltered, even at his own banishment. And he would prove his loyalty to his lord by destroying the dhampir bastard. -------- Akui had rushed to Mina’s side as she fell, even to the point of sliding to catch her falling head with his thighs as he knelt almost awkwardly with her head resting on his lap. He smiled slightly as he traced his finger over her cheek. He had never been so close to touch her before, always following behind her from a distance when she would be out and about with whom he determined to be the other side of his fractured soul. He ran his hand through her soft hair and his eyes grew almost soft. She was so much more beautiful up close than she was at a distance. And she would be solely his. He may need to restore his own fractured soul with the destruction of the other Dark Lord Candidates, including that of Soma Cruz himself. Akui looked to the forest. The boy who shared his date of birth was fighting something of decent strength within the forest of Suicide. Perhaps he could take Mina away while her protectors were away.
How humorous that after 10 years of watching over and defending this beautiful soul, even the Dhampir Prince thought her safe from the Candidates, when she herself served as an almost instant key to Dracula’s powers. Oh yes, Akui knew who Mina Hakuba was. It was the reason, he was sure, that who she was was the reason Soma and himself were drawn to her side so desperately. However, Akui would win this battle, even though he didn’t not have the powers of Dominion, with Mina to be his Princess of Darkness. And together, they would rule over all.
-----
Leon scoffed with a slight laugh. “Mathias, my friend, I’ve yet to improve my title over much of land ownership. I’ve yet to prove a sustainable…” he trails off as his eyes fall on Sara, his heart skipping a beat and the words caught in his throat. She was beautiful, with an air of compassion about her. He quickened his step before he stood at his dearest friend’s side before the brunette that had caught him off guard. He bowed deeply to her and reached up his hand to her, praying quietly, that the daily practice with his blade would not have calloused his hands to be too rough on the fair lady’s hand.

| The young auburn female now laid upon the other's lap now lost to the darkness and left very weak due to the dark forest. Her cheeks were paled in comparison to her normal fair tone. The forest was practically causing the young woman to remain a weakened state; her breathing was shallow as the young woman laid there. Her safety in the hands of a complete stranger. Yet her mind was lost in yet another dream.
The young blonde twiddled with her fingers as her cheeks were flushed; she stood a few feet with her dearest friend Sara. She could not believe she was actually here; within the castle walls of the Cronqvist. Yet unable to hide a smile from growing on her face as the lord of the castle came over to her; her cheeks brightened as she listened to his words. She felt her heart skip a beat as she met those frost hues; her brows furrowed gently as she nods. "Oh yes; thank you again for inviting us. We appreciate it. How are you on this night milord?" She inquires curiously as she found herself keeping hold of his hand. It was far longer than it should be and her cheeks flushed brighter.
Sara's eyes twist to meet those familiar sapphires she had seen a few times in passing; her lips purse as a smile came to her lips finally at last. She could speak with the young lord that caught her eye a few months ago on her walk; yet because she had been unaccompanied he had not been allowed to approach her. It would have improper if he had; but now they were in public and she was with Elisabetha. "It's an honor to meet you." She exhales taking his hand gently; her heart was skipping a beat. Perhaps the two could share a dance.
---
The young blonde purses her lips as she listened to his words; her brows furrowed slightly as she lifts her head to meet his red hues. "A-Alucard. I want Alucard, I want to be reunited.... With Alucard...." She whispers closing her eyes for a moment as a tear escapes her; the two had indeed leave their relationship on a rocky note. She wanted to apologize to him; but the knowledge Aleksander had shared with her made her wondering what would occur if she saw Alucard again. The young nuzzled into Aleksander for a moment. "What is the favor you wish of me?" | |

| The woman snarled as she seen that Soma was fighting back against her tree, cutting at the twigs and preventing further harm to come to him. Normally, intruders would have fallen quickly and swiftly, leaving silence to befall the forest once again and her soul to find peace. With this one, she would have to go through more of an effort to see him fall and he would let out a frustrated shriek as her raised hands formed into fists. The woman's ears twitched from the prayer but, it did not stop her from continuing to crush her fingers into a tight fist. The remaining branches that had been too high for Soma to reach leaned down, stretching themselves longer as they reached out to grab at Soma and pull him against the tree once again. The woman was in no mood for further fighting but, she wanted his boy's infernal noises to stop. She continued to glare, clenching her fists so hard that black blood poured from her palms and onto the dirt ground. "Shi.... Shi..." She uttered to herself as the branches continued to attempt to grab at Soma and wrap him against the tree.
Dracula noticed that this demon was going to give his vessel more of an issue than he had orginally thought. He had underesitmated its power but, he was so used to be able to be rid of such lesser demons quickly. He watched Soma struggle until an idea came to mind upon hearing his thoughts of wishing he knew of Blood Magic. He wondered if Soma's abilities were more connected his belief of being able to perform them. Or rather, perhaps they were connected to his memories of how he had performed such abilities. "Soma... Use your memories of Castlevania. If that was the last place that had insighted your powers perhaps reminiscing about particular battles against demons will unlock some of your abilities. Think about the weapon, the magic that you had used..." Dracula inquired, wishing he could have a hand in physically pulling these memories out but, he was far too weak for that. He simply only had his charm to aid him in these situations.
----
"Believe it or not, I think there are women in this world that will look past your title or sustainability. Take a risk with his one, perhaps you'll be surprised." Mathias purred to his dearest friend as he dragged him to the young brunette. He glanced to Leon and Sara, a small smile pursing upon his lips as he could see that they would make a fine couple. He looked back at Elisabetha as she felt her hand lingering upon his own for longer than he was used to. He didn't mind it. In fact, he almost did want her to let go as he smiled and nodded to her inquiry. "Of course, my lady. I am wonderful. Better that I knew you and your friend were able to make it." He continued before he listened to the music as it changed into a soft waltz. "Would you like to join me for a waltz, my lady?" | |

| Soma cursed again. This was definitely not going well. He narrowly escaped the branches before but this time, the branches latched onto him now. He winced and tried to keep himself from struggling too much. He had to focus on fighting and not freaking out about the tree. He heard the strange man’s voice as he scowled at the ghost with a cold glint in his frost blue eyes. Remembering Castlevania. The battles he had. Fighting Graham and somehow absorbing his soul. Reaching the Chaotic Realm and destroying the the Chaos that controlled the castle’s changes and traps. Fighting Julius and forming a sort of pact with the Belmont Hunter, that if he ever lost himself Julius would ensure that Soma wouldn’t be able to hurt people.
Even if every person he had grown up around hated and despised him. And his thoughts wished sometimes about taking revenge on the people who called him a devil and a monster, his mother would always reign him back. The thought of darkness in his heart flooded Soma’s poor mother, Shira, with anger and dread. Soma remembered as a child, his darling mother had cursed and fought off an entire sect of the church for offering to take her poor child away. And Soma had more people now who cared about him. Mina, and the almost instantaneous bond the children had discovered. Soma wanted nothing more than to live a peaceful long life with Mina. His ray of light in a life that had been filled with the awkward boy’s struggles pushing away an ever-lingering darkness. Arikado-san, despite his odd behavior around Soma since they first met, had been incredibly protective of Mina for the past 10 years and seemed personally invested in trying to ensure Soma’s life getting better and happier. Was he betraying all of his new friends trust by doing this on his own? Would his mother be able to forgive him for letting darkness creep slightly into his heart while he and the others were trapped in that infernal castle?
Either way, none of that would matter if he died here. Maybe the voice was right. He would have to think of what would have helped him escape vines and branches before. Try to summon the Claimh Solais to do some serious damage to the ghost. He started adjusting his body slightly to loosen the branches and he slipped down, folding his knees as he slid his back down the tree trunk, using the energy from his pivoting knees to tumble forward bracing his sliding flip with his arms, finally pushing up off the ground with his hands doing one more flip md-air to land on his feet. He turned back to the ghost quickly and clenched his left hand and focused on how the heavy blade of the Claimh Solais felt in his palms. To his surprise, the heavy blade formed in his dominant hand and he smirked slightly as he rushed towards the ghost, gripping the sword in both hands and swinging it up above his head and bringing it down in an arching sweep down near the ghost, the holy magic of the blade emanating around the blade as he swings it.
------- Aleksander let out a slight grin, baring a single fang. This would be perfect. The lady Renard would bring Aleksander close to the Prince and cause the Prince to lower his guard once more. And since most of the brat’s powers had been sealed away, killing the child would be almost as easy as killing a human. ”As I’m unsure you know, Lord Dracula is dead. Just short of 40 years ago, the combined efforts of Belmont, Belnades, Hakuba priests and Alucard finally defeating the Vampire King in a gruesome and dangerous battle. My long-lasted dedication to Lord Dracula has ceased, and I would like to try and finally earn forgiveness from Lord Dracula’s only child. You may not know this, but I had once been dedicated to his family long, long ago. And it’s taken years for me to realize that such an oath would pass on to his young Prince. I wish to try and build a relationship with Master Adrian, but he’s closed himself off to many people for an incredibly long time. To my knowledge, you are the only person who has managed to open his heart most of the way to earn his affections and eventually his love. I think if anyone can get through to the young master, it is you, Lady Renard.” he says doing his best to form a look of remorse he had no feeling of onto his face.
Oh yes, Aleksander would start off with avenging his Lord by finally destroying his master’s ever-ungrateful bastard. Then perhaps, once he restored his beloved Miriam to her rightful place in Maria’s exquisite form, he would finally be able to end Belmont, since the man had aged quite a bit since his prime. Then revenge would finally be complete.
-------- Akui repositioned himself feeling a change in the air. If he waited too long to admire her beauty, someone might pass by and see him. Reaching down and pulling his violin and it’s case back together, he swung it gently onto his back before looking back down at the young woman unconscious before him. He scooped Mina up into his arms as he stood up, glancing once more at the forest’s entrance. He would take Mina Hakuba back with him to the area of Tokyo where they all had lived and let her rest up at his home. He would have to come up with an explanation and introduce himself when she would awake. Hopefully, her reaction to him would be the same as she had to Soma initially. It would make it much easier to swoon her and steal her right out from under the young vessel’s nose. At least until Akui would have to destroy Soma and take the Crimson Stone from the true Candidate’s corpse.
------- Leon brought his lips to her knuckle gently. ”A pleasure, milady. Might I have your name?” he asked gently, looking up from his still bowed position with his sapphire eyes.

| The young auburn stirred slightly in the arms of the young man who held her close to himself; she was still too weakened to regain consciousness. No, only hours of rest would aid the young woman in recovery. The forest's dark energy now lingered around her body; having drained her of her strength and holy energy. As she stirred she murmured something; her head burying slightly in his chest. Instinctively seeking the warmth that his body gave off. The dream she was having, it was pleasant though. But it felt so real, like it wasn't even a dream. But like a memory...
Elisabetha had been studying his features with that innocent yet angelic smile; she had found him to be still so beautiful. Just like she thought he did in the market place, she quickly noted that her fingers had been thumbing his hand. She had just become so lost listening to his voice; it was a low yet warm. She blinked bringing herself back to the moment. He had asked if she wanted to waltz with him; her face lit up at the request. She hoped it was not too obvious. "It would be an honor to waltz with you milord." she exhales as she allowed him to guide her away from Sara's side towards the center to the dance with her. "Milord, I cannot help but wonder why you approached me the other day. Please, know I mean no offense by my inquisition. It is just not every day a lord in such a high standing would approach someone like I." she exhales to him preparing to be led into the waltz; she began to pray that she did not step on his feet. How embarrassing it would be if she did.
~
Sara smiles at Leon finding herself smitten with him already; how improper would it be if she revealed to the lord before her now that she had been thinking of him these past few months. Wondering when she would meet him again. When she could finally speak with him. "My name is Sara. Sara Trantoul." She exhales to him as she felt her smile grow ever wider with him. She knew in her heart. He was her one. She could only hope that he would even consider her.... Sara remember how her mother use to tell her that despite arranged marriage; love was possible. And if god was favorable you could find love and marriage in one. She was hoping god would shine upon her this night and shine her in a lovely light that this young lord would even consider her as a possible candidate for a place at his side. "Would you like to dance with me milord?" She breathes out; she knew it forward for her to ask him.
----
Maria's eyes closed as she listens to Aleksander's words; they were hard to take in at first hearing them. She felt her brows furrow slightly. She could give it a shot; but she was not sure if she could convince Alucard to accept Aleksander. Would Alucard even accept her back into his life? She could only hope; she however felt her head grow heavy. "I am not feeling well, I feel hungry and I'm thirsty." She whispers out to him. "I will try my best Aleksander. When do we go see Alucard?" | |

| The Claimh Solais would do its job excellently. The ghost would scream out in pain as the holy power from the blade would cut right through her corrupted soul and effectively eliminate her from the living world forever; her echoing scream the last thing to hang in the air for just a few seconds before disappearing as well.
Dracula would emit a hardy laughter upon seeing Soma destroying the ghost swiftly and willing quite the strong blade to allow him to do so. He could feel the ghost's soul enter Soma's body and give Dracula just the smallest taste of the strength he craved. The Lord of Darkness wanted more but, he could not get greedy now or Soma might get suspicious of him. But, how he wished the boy would fight more and feed him that wondrous strength at a more steady pace.
"Excellent! Good job, my boy!" Dracula spoke happily before he felt the familiar sense of an old friend approaching. Death.Oh, how he missed the creature's presence and ever useful guidance in his endeavors. A cruel smile would purse upon his lips as he thought upon how useful Death could be to him in this situation he has found himself in. If Death found out that he still lived within this boy, he knew Algrim would more than happily aid him in getting his power back.
"But, it seems another is approaching our location. Someone emitting an aura of death perhaps coming to collect the remains of this poor woman's soul. Prepare yourself..." Dracula uttered as he awaited his old friend to appear to him. | |

| The forest was in a way his domain, this forest of death. It was always being filled with the miserable, the lonely, and depressed. Their souls becoming trapped in this wicked forest. Even Death himself felt sick to his stomach at times; he had sensed the young boy was within the forest. Why though? Why was Soma Cruz within Suicide forest? Was he hoping to end his life? His existence? Spare the world of the even slightest chance that he may fall prey to the darkness within his heart? The demon he could become if history repeated itself? Adorned in a dark suit with his hair slicked back; he made his way into the clearing approaching the young ivory haired male. "Mr. Cruz. I am beguiled as to why you are in a domain of my being?" he says adjusting his white gloves as he moved with deathly grace. "If you wish to die so much, I can assist you." He exhales with a glow of his red hues; with a dark blast he sent the young man flying back into a tree. His features were grim as he approached the center of the field. "It's been so long; what do you think you are do child?" He questions, the boy before him was his friend reincarnated. He had unveiled the truth some time ago and looked out for the child in his youth to the best of his ability. He was not sure if Soma would even recall the black cat he saved all those years ago; the injured creature he brought home where he begged his beautiful yet powerful mother to allow him to keep. She had been reluctant at first but cave to her son's pleas to keep the cat; in her opinion she was glad that it hadn't been another bat. Soma, Soma must have thought himself crazy when the cat started talking to him. Grimm had looked out for the boy pretending to be a pet. Years he spent at Soma's side, it wasn't until Soma started his teen years did something happen to his dear 'pet'. He knew who Soma was, he was far from a fool. He sensed him however, he sensed Dracula lurking within Soma. The deity within was up to something. Algrim wasn't sure what to expect with this situation.
----
Amber hues groggily fluttered open as brows knitted together; Mina's eyes took in what appeared to be a bedroom. It wasn't her room though; the walls were a dark Veridian green. It was beautiful; the bedroom had candelabras attached to various parts of the walls. It was a unique mix of decor; she noted the music theme instantly. As well as the gothic almost castle like decor; she felt like she was in a castle. The bed she was in; the sheets, the comforter, the pillows all of it was the softest yet warmest of fabric. She noted the bed was a dark four post bed canopy, slowly she began to sit up. Her heart felt lighter; her body felt free of the heaviness that the forest had weighed upon her. She then heard it again the violin was playing. Her eyes swept to her left to take in the young man sitting by the balcony window's ledge. He was playing that song that spoke to her heart only hours prior; she was entranced by his handsome features for but a moment. "W-Where am I?" She whispers out to him; her voice shaky had she passed out? She places a hand to her forehead; she had another strange dream though. | |

| Soma groaned as he started to stand from the base of the tree. He was not ready for a battle with Death again. And yet the creature before him drew no fear from the young man. What would he able to say? The young man hadn’t expected to see the god of Death again after the fall of Castlevania and the destruction of Chaos, he had assumed the being would return from whatever realm he had come from initially. ”I’m training. Arikado-san wants me to start hunting alongside his group and I came here to train so I would be more effective with it.” he said, calling forth his holy weapon again. He would ready himself to fight, if that was what Death had wanted.
------- Akui lowered his violin and glanced over his shoulder back at her. She was beautiful, but most definitely needed rest. His poor soulmate had such a terrible day. He came back into the room and smiled gently, ”Please rest, Ms. Hakuba. I found you outside the Aokigahara unconscious and brought you back to my home to recover. Please have no fear. You’ll be safe here.” he replied gently moving her back down onto the bed.

| The god felt a brow quiver at the boy's words, a bemused chuckle escapes his lips as he walks a path a few feet away from Soma. "Does Arikado know you are here boy? Does he know you are awakening your dark powers again? Does he?" He inquires as he motions his hands outwards. He held a smug smirk on his face finding humor on the boy's words. "Do you really think by accessing your past life's powers you can save her? You can keep her safe? Your little woman." He sneers tilting his chin up in a boastfulness. His crimson hues glistening. "Oh Soma, you amuse me. You really do. Those powers will only be the death of you and your woman." He says pointing a finger at Soma; his features taking a darker form. "You are Dracula reborn, and like and his life before he. The darkness will consume you and the woman who was the light to your heart will die young. And there will be nothing you can do to prevent it." He says, giving the boy a fair warning despite his friendship with Mathias, no Dracula he wanted his friend to have a second chance. He wanted him to be able to have the life with his beloved that was stolen from him centuries ago. Having been at the boy's side during his early youth; he recalled the tears the boy shed, the nightmares that had plagued the child's mind; the hugs he sought from his mother after others berated, accused, and were down right cruel to him.
After seeing his friend descend into madness twice; Algrim secretly wanted the his friend to have what he was denied. He wanted to see Elisabetha and Lisa's current incarnation be allowed what she lost centuries ago. He turns his attention back to Soma with a brow narrowing; he turns to face Soma completely. "If you continue down this path Soma, I will stop you where you stand. I will bring death to your doorstep." He whispers his eyes glowing slightly as his hands began to become shadowy; a grin pursed his lips as he chuckles preparing to fight the young man.
----
As he laid her back upon the soft comforter his words were reassuring; he said she would be safe here. Here with him, and her heart said she would be. She believed this stranger's words; she still felt extremely weak. Her brows knitted together; her fingers reached for his hand taking hold of it gently. "W-Who are you?" She exhales, the soft pillows were like a cloud. She studies his features for a silent moment; he truly reminded her of Soma was it his aura? His eyes, they reminded her of the man from her dream. Just like Soma, but they held something different. He saved her from the forest? "You saved me? Thank you so much. I owe it to you." She exhales offering him that sweet smile; that smile Soma adored so much. | |

| Soma gulped as he started to pull himself up, gripping tighter on the holy-based sword in his hand. He narrowed his pale blue eyes and steeled himself for another fight with the god of Death. He felt anger start to boil slowly in his veins. How DARE he speak in such a way about Mina?? Everything Soma was doing was for the sole purpose of keeping Mina safe!! And Arikado-san would help him. Maybe it wasn’t quite the method that the strange man would have wanted, but Soma had to at least try. He felt so empty without Mina. Without her, he couldn’t keep the promise he had made at the forefront of his mind. He swore to not treat poorly the people who had hurt and cursed him. He would be the better person and let their words and screams roll off of him. Because Mina believed there was goodness in him. And that goodness, alongside Mina’s…. Would it be too much of a stretch to call it love? They had spent years together, played and laughed, studied and cried.
She was everything to him and he would die if it meant protecting her. She’s been able to pull him away from his dark destiny before, and she would continue to do so until he died. Because there was no way that Soma would let the girl of his dreams be hurt or killed by any monster or crazy cultist. That was his new vow, and he would intend to uphold it. He would not allow this practical angel be torn away from him again.
… Again? No, those dreams were sparse and hazy at best. The most he remembered were the nights he would wake up in tears still seeing in his mind, him cradling the burned and broken form of the beautiful she-doctor in his trembling cold arms. His mother would be there in moments to comfort him as a child, and the bats would try finding a way into his window. And when he had the cat his mother hated as well, he would seek comfort from talking with the odd animal. Those terrible images got worse for a time when he and Mina got older, sometimes his mind would replace the she-doctor with the form of Mina and anger would fill the young man. Again, his mother’s sixth sense would surface and she would call him or something when he felt his heart could stop from the pain. Like Mina could.
Soma frowned as he forced his eyes to soften slightly. ”I don’t have any wish to fight you, Death. We have nothing to battle over for now. It’s for the best if you continue on your eternal life and I’ll live out my mortal one. I wish you the best, but I swear to you, I will change things. I’ll protect Mina with every fiber of my being. And I have plenty of friends who will help me save her if needed. Arikado-san and Yoko-san would never let Mina get hurt. She’s almost like a little sister to Yoko-san and Arikado-san has been super protective of her for more than 10 years. I doubt he’s going to let her out of his sight for any extended period of time. I really do appreciate your warning, and i’ll do everything i can to keep your warning from coming true. If you were his friend, then please trust me, Death. I refuse to be the Dark Lord and I just want a normal life with Mina if she’d have me.” said Soma, trying to start inching to the side. He was unprepared for this fight, and he wanted to avoid it at all costs.
-------
Akui smiles gently at her,”Of course, Ms. Hakuba. Though I do have to ask, why were you out at Suicide Forest? It’s not quite a suitable place for a date..” he said, a slight smirk coming to his face. The less she knew for now would most assuredly be for the best.

| Death sneered at the young ivory male's words as he waved them off; he grins to Soma as he points his finger directly at the boy. "I warned him twice about the fate that would occur his beloved; even warned her first life personally. Neither were able to prevent what was to come; but Soma. Mina's greatest danger in this life is you." he proclaims to the young dark lord; he took a step back as his eyes darkened slightly. "Soma, you can't prevent it. No one can. You diving into such darkness as his powers will cause you great harm. I advise you to stop this immediately; after all the years we've been through. Let me guide you once more." He says approaching the boy, he knew Dracula would be furious with him but he had to try for the sake of the boy's happiness and safety.
---
The auburn female winces slightly as her head pounded slightly; the forest. The forest had in a way attacked her and depleted her of her energy. His words only reminded her that she had followed Soma there. "M-My friend Soma..... He went there for some reason, he claimed he needed to do training..... I followed him there.... I was worried about him... But the forest it's dark energy; it practically bled me of my energy and magic...." She whispers groaning slightly; as she offered him a weak smile. "What's your name?" She inquires at that moment she realized he already knew her name. Did he know of her family's shrine perhaps? Or did they know each other already? "How do you know my name?" | |

| Dracula was infuriated to find that his old friend was attempting to do the very opposite of helping his return come to pass. He knew that Algrim knew he rested deep within Soma's mind, awaiting to regain his powers through the use of Dominus. He had thought that such a loyal friend would be happy to see his return but, it seemed Algrim had other priorities upon his mind. Dracula could not remain silent upon hearing Death's words and used what small amount of strength he had to contact the god of Death mentally.
"What are you doing, Algrim?" Dracula's voice sneered in his friend's mind, his voice portraying his disappointment and anger in the other's attempt to put Soma on a different path. He was pleased that Soma was not listening to Death's words and remaining wonderfully stubborn. If the young boy remained that way and didn't start getting doubtful then this plans will unfold beautifully. "You were my loyal friend yet, you are willing to go against me. You disappointment me." He commented to Death before he moved to talk with Soma directly.
"Do not listen to him Soma. He is not your friend despite what he might try to say to you." Dracula said, speaking only to Soma as he looked to Algrim with a deep frown. "He only wishes to see you and your beloved fall. In fact, I have reason to believe he might try to bring about your death to bring Dracula's return. How he might want to accomplish this is unknown but, he was Dracula's right hand man. " Dracula commented to the boy. If Algrim was going against him in this day and age then, he shall do the same. | |

| Soma frowned at Death’s words and he glanced down to the ground. He would never allow Mina to get hurt. He wasn’t going to let Mina die, even if it meant his own life would be forfeit. A live without Mina was a life without meaning.
Upon hearing the stranger’s words in his mind, he looked back at Death with a frown. ”You were the cat I had throughout my childhood, weren’t you? The cat that could talk to me. One of the only animals beside the bats that wasn’t afraid of me. Before Mina, I was proud to call you my friend, since I didn’t have any actual human friends. They were all scared of me. All terrified of my eyes and the dark aura I had been born with. You had comforted me and played with me when I was little. Even though my Mother was terrified of you. And now you mean to threaten me? To Threaten my Mina? I’ve already told you. I have no intention of becoming Dracula. I have no intention of hurting people. I just want to be able to live with Mina. Spend time with Yoko-san, Hammer and Julius. To occasionally pick on Arikado-san because he gets flustered by Mina’s affections. I have a really strong support system. I’m friends with Church Hunters, even if I don’t quite like the church to begin with for the way they’ve always treated my mother. I have my mother who supports and protects me, even on a different continent. I have the swarm of bats I grew up taking care of and nurturing. I have things that make me happy and keep my emotions under control. I went over this with you when we had met at Castlevania. I will do everything I can to protect Mina and Arikado-san. Everything to protect my friends and Family. And nothing’s going to take my family away from me.” he said drawing forth the Claimh Solais once more. If Death wanted a fight, he would get one. Even if Soma wasn’t quite willing to fight him.
----------------- Akui smiled down at Mina closing his eyes to regain his composure and not show any anger at the other candidates mention by HIS soon-to-be wife. After a few moments, he lessened his smile slightly and sat down in a chair near the bed. ”I see. Are you starting to feel better now, Ms. Hakuba?” he starts off with,”My name Is Akui. and to answer your question, I had gone to your family’s shrine during the Eclipse festival quite a while ago. It seemed to me as if your parents had that festival to try and strengthen some sort of seal? Do you know what that was about? My curiosity had been piqued at that point, but I haven’t had a chance to ask you of it.”
Akui had to ensure that he obviously didn’t reveal too much. He had known about Castlevania, and that the castle had finally been destroyed once and for all when Soma had defeated Chaos itself in the Chaotic Realm. However, Akui had been brainstorming on how to revive Chaos and bring back his future Castle once he would finally dispose of his only competition. And Mina would rule over the world beside him as his princess.

| A scowl formed on Algrim's features upon hearing Dracula's voice caress his mind; he felt a low growl emanate from his throat. 'Do not patronize me Dracula! Countless times I resurrected you! I have defended you and remained at your side for centuries. But you can never be satisfied can you?! Why can't you just live your life anew? Or do you not even realize Lisa has been reincarnated again?! You have been given a second chance Dracula! A second chance! You and your wife were robbed of your first life; you fell into despair and became Dracula! And then your wife was given life again! You found happiness, you lived. But you didn't change her when I advised you to, and you lost her again! And now you have been reincarnated. And I have been at your.... His side since he was small. I have seen him grow and i have loved him like he was my own. I want you to be able to live life. To live what you were robbed of! What I tried desperately to prevent centuries ago! Think about how i feel instead of being the selfish lord you are. ' he roars out to Dracula mentally as he grows irate with Dracula's words.
His eyes twisted back to Soma and he cleared his throat. "Soma. I do not wish to see you get hurt. Yes, I am the cat you saved years ago. I have been at your side since you were small. I have watched you grow into a young man. But I cannot allow you fall back into darkness. I want so desperately to see you live the life you were robbed off long ago. I highly advise you remove that stone from your neck. If you do not it will be the death of you; and all you love will face a very terrifying threat. You were like a son to me. I have loved you since your birth. But i know if you continue to listen to that voice in your head! That man within the stone. You will perish. And I do not want that for you. I want you to be happy. Give me the crimson stone. I will dispose of it. And you can learn to protect through other means." he exhales trying to get the boy to listen to reason, he feared Dracula's influence may already be too strong on Soma.
--- The auburn female sat up slowly once more she listened to her words and laughed lightly; he wouldn't believe her even if she did tell him. Hearing that he had gone to the festival, it eased her sense of worry somehow. "Well. You wouldn't believe even if I told you. But my parents they sealed a dark force away in the shrine so to speak. It's nice to meet you by the way Akui-kun."" She exhales to him sweetly, she wore a small smile as she looked to her savior. She tucked back an auburn lock behind her ear as she took in his bedroom once more. He seemed nice enough; and she always up for making new friends. Perhaps she could befriend him if he wished for it.
---
The magenta haired secretary bounced slightly in her chair swinging her feet as she 'worked' at her desk. Her lilac hues looked at the screen as she played with the dress up maker game, she hummed slightly as she waited for her master to finish his lunch. She then perked up when the door open, however she was quick to minimize the screen before chirping out a bright "Hello~" she took in Yoko Belnades and found herself smiling at the blonde witch who smiled back. " Hello to you too, Marion. Is Arikado in his office? I need to speak with him." She exhales to the former monster, the young woman paused before tapping her chin.
"Well he just got back from his mission; I think he said he was going to take a brief nap?" She responds Yoko only smiled as she then walked over to Arikado's office door; she opened it and slid inside before approaching the young man on the couch. He was so handsome. Yet he was constantly rejecting her feelings. She knew she should move on, but she found it hard to do so. Gently she places her hand on his shoulder; she shook him gently. "Arikado. Arikado, wake up. It concerns miss Hakuba." | |

| Dracula frowned upon hearing Death's angered inquiries, his lips curling back into disapproval towards all that was being said. He was blinded to the points that Death was making because all he desired at that point was his return to power so that he could send this cruel world into despair. These mortals. They didn't deserve the lives and happiness they were gifted with in this damned world. He wanted to eradicate them from this world, see God's creation go to flames, before he would ever be satisfied. It was a selfish plan but, Dracula was determined to see it come to fruition no matter the consequences.
' I have my reasons, Death. You do not deserve to know them or act against them. I care not that this boy is my 'second chance' because I desire to see this world burn for all its done. I want to see God's creations suffer and scream as the fires of Chaos consume them. Only then will I be satisfied and I will gladly accept your Embrace.' Dracula answered, ignoring his former friend's comment about Lisa being reincarnated. He doubted Death's words in regards to his sweet Lisa as he returned to the situation at hand.
"Do not believe him, Soma. You are smarter than this." Dracula said, countering the words that Death was attempt to utter to Soma in an attempt to get the boy to give up the Crimson Stone. It had never been in anyone's possession than Dracula's for many centuries. It was apart of his being and without it, Dracula's progress to return to power would be severely halted. He couldn't allow it to go into Death's hands so, he spoke quickly. "Do not give him the Stone. Listen... You hand this over and you lose me. Not only that but, you might as well give in to the Dark Lord quelling inside you. This Stone is the only thing keeping the Dark Lord from overtaking your mind and bringing you to darkness. I have told you that this creature of death only wants Dracula's return and he'll do anything to bring that to pass. Believe me, this man is full of lies and deceit." Dracula said quickly as he awaited Soma's next move. | |

| Soma frowned and moved back slightly, once again leaning against the tree. He had been the owner of this stone for as long as he could remember and he didn’t feel right being without it. Death MAY have had a point, but Soma couldn’t risk losing something that he had become so dependant upon having. ”I’m sorry, Death, I appreciate your concern, but I’m going to have to ask you to trust me. I’m afraid that I can’t let you take my necklace. I’ve grown quite attached to it over the years. And I don’t want to lose it.” he says gripping the stone in his palm.
----------- Akui smiled at Mina gently. Everything was going better than he had anticipated. True, the only thing that he truly needed to worry about was Soma Cruz. Once that little menace was dealt with, Mina would have no one else to turn to than Akui. ”I see, that is incredibly fascinating. Thank you for filling me in on that, Miss Mina. But it’s a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance, my dear. I do hope we can become friends. I do so enjoy making friends.” he says, looking over her face again. She was beautiful. And would be his.
---------- Arikado’s auburn eyes open to glance at Yoko with their natural coolness, “What’s happened to Miss Hakuba.” He said, sitting up and getting himself situated to stand. He would not forgive himself if he had lost track of her somehow.
